New Georgia Elementary held their second Veteran’s Day Tribute. It was a great honor to stand in the same company as these men and women. “God Bless The USA” holds a special place in my heart since it brings back the memory of standing with a group of Marines, who had just came back from Desert Storm, singing this song at the top of our lungs at the NCO club….I was the only Air Force person among these Marines. And today, to stand among those who have sacrificed so much more than myself…it is those Veterans who deserve a special tribute and thanks. Their service helped these children be where they are today. So to all those Veterans out there…THANK YOU! And to those currently serving….THANK YOU!!!
